Unless otherwise noted, Veterans Coffees begin at 8:30 and end at 10:30 am

A new Veterans Coffee COMING SOON! (Tuesday, August 15, 9:00 – 10:30 am) The Billy Graham Library in Charlotte will be hosting other monthly Veterans Coffees on September 19, October 17 and November 21.


A SPECIAL opportunityWednesday, August 16, 9:00 – 11:00 am  A special Vets Coffee at the Petty Museum and Garage 309 Branson Mill Rd.  Level Cross, NCThe “King” will be there!  Don’t miss it!


Saturday, August 26, Montford Point Marine Day, 75th Anniversary, Joe C. Davison Park, Burlington, NC  11 am – 3:00 pm  Presented by the Montford Point Marine Association.  VA support & assistance, entertainment, food and more.


Wednesday, September 6, 8:30 – 10:30 Vets Coffee at Richard Childress Racing in Welcome, We are collaborating with UNC TV to preview the new Ken Burns documentary on the Vietnam War.  Join us and bring Veteran Friends.  Richard Childress wants to fill his 1,000 seat event center room for this special presentation. The RCR museum will be open for a free visit by our attendees after the Vets Coffee.  We will have a special guest at this event…Retired Army Lt. Colonel Walter “Joe” Marm, Medal of Honor recipient, earned during the Vietnam War.

  • September 6 (A very special Vets Coffee to preview the new PBS Ken Burns documentary on the Vietnam War) Please help get the word out about this event.  We want to fill the room.  There will be a full breakfast provided by the Richard Childress Racing teams.

  • December 6, (Year End Finale Vets Coffee)   We are partnering with the Marine Corps League’s “Toys for Tots” program.  Please bring new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children.

There will be no Veterans Coffees in December and January at the locations noted above

except for the December 6 event at RCR in Welcome.




Thelma’s Frontier Coffee Shop in Salisbury.  Every Tuesday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 am at Thelma’s Restaurant in the West End Plaza shopping Center.


Richard’s Coffee Shop and Military Museum in Mooresville will be open every day except Sunday.  Thursdays has free coffee for Vets and Saturday is their musical extravaganza.


Cabarrus Veterans Coalition Get Together.  Every Tuesday morning from 8:30 – 11:00 am at Carm’s Café, 42 S. Union St. Concord
