Except for the Richard Childress Racing Vets Coffee on December 5,

there will be NO Veterans Coffees in December

and NONE at all in January.


Davidson County: Richard Childress Racing, 425 Industrial Blvd. Welcome/Lexington. 1st Wednesday of each month, November 7 – our speaker will be USAF Colonel (Ret) Norman A. McDaniel, POW in North Vietnam for over 6.5 years), Serah Frack-Haley will be singing for us on 11/7There will also be a special flag ceremony/presentation that morning by the Elks Lodge of Winsto-Salem.  In addition to Coffee and Doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches will be served.

December 5 – our year end Vets Coffee Finale.   Erinn Dearth, Letters from Home” will be joining us for a Veteran/Holiday show!  Bring Toys and Children’s clothing for the Marine Corps League “Toys for Tots”.  Breakfast will be served.

In 2019, Cabarrus County Vets Coffees will be held QUARTLY, NOT MONTHLY.


Guilford County, Greensboro.  NEW LOCATION:  Golden Corral, (just off of Wendover Ave.) 4404 Landview Dr. 2nd Thursday of each month.  November 8.  To eliminate confusion with their customers, because they are not open for business when we arrive, please use the back door adjacent to our meeting room.


Iredell County, Statesville @ the Outback Steakhouse: 3rd Wednesday of each month.  The Outback team provides breakfast in addition to the coffee and doughnuts. October 17, 11/21


Forsyth County, Winston-Salem @ the PDQ Restaurant on Stratford Rd.  3rd Thursday of each month.  November 15.


Forsyth County, Kernersville Linville Forest Church of Christ, 450 Linville Rd. 4th Monday of each month.  NO Vets Coffee in November, December or January. See you again in February 2019.


Stokes County, King, Town & Country Restaurant.  4th Thursday of each month. No November meeting because of Thanksgiving.  We will meet again in February, 2019.

Clemmons (Tanglewood Park) Sunday, November 11, (Veterans Day) 5:30 PM.  There will be a special Ceremony to honor Veterans for their service to our country prior to a walk through the beautiful Festival of Lights. There will be activities for everyone, food trucks and an opportunity to raise money for the Rotary Club of Clemmons that will be donated to many local community organizations.  The Gates open at 5:00 pm.  There are three WALK start times…5:30, 7:00 and 8:30 pm.  Plan to be there. ADMISSION is $50 per car load.

Winston-Salem, Monday, November 12, 11:00 am.  Our annual tribute to Veterans and their families.  Open to Veterans, their families and the public.  Trellis Supportive Care campus.  101 Hospice Ln.  Just off of Bolton St.


November 14, Thelma’s Veterans Lunch.  11:30 am – 2:00 pm,  Free for Veterans and one guest each, but donations will be accepted and appreciated to help with expenses. At the old JC Penny Store Event Center in West End Plaza.  Register at 704 267-6219, or at  Salisbury NC.


Salisbury- Thelma’s Frontier Coffee Shop.  Every Tuesday morning from 8:30 – 10:30 am at Thelma’s Restaurant in the West End Plaza shopping Center.


Mooresville- Richard’s Coffee Shop and Military Museum will be open every day except Sunday.  Thursdays has free coffee for Vets and Saturday is their musical extravaganza.


Letters From Home cruise with Veterans!

We can’t wait! Letters From Home will be sailing on the Island Princess through the Panama Canal, and our veteran family is invited! Princess Cruises also gives extra onboard credit to veterans, and there will be vets from all across the world that will be getting together for some Caribbean sun and some 40’s-60’s musical fun!  Information, call: 336 767-0040 or,
